UPDATE 4/15: The Wilson 461104 AG Pro Quint has been discontinued and replaced with the weBoost 471104 Connect 4G-X Extreme Signal Booster Kit.
With the deadline for the new FCC regulations looming at the beginning of March, Wilson Electronics announced today that their extremely popular AG Pro Quint cell phone signal booster, which will boost all networks on all major carriers, has been given the stamp of approval by the FCC. In order to be certified, some changes to the amplifier were necessary, including dropping the maximum gain from 75 dB to 70 dB and adding additional protective measures internally to prevent interference with carrier networks.
Additionally, the new Wilson 461104 AG Pro Quint signal booster will now only be sold in kit form, which will include an outside antenna, inside antenna, LMR 400 coax cable, and the amplifier, and is projected to retail at $899.95. Additional "expansion packs" will be available for purchase, which will allow you to add more inside antennas, and include a variety of splitters, antenna types, and cable lengths to craft the coverage area as needed.
We expect additional products to be certified in the coming weeks, including the widely anticipated Wilson DT 4G Signal Booster, and will keep you posted as we hear more.

ST. GEORGE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wilson Electronics (www.wilsonelectronics.com), manufacturer of North America’s top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announced today that the company’s AG Pro Quint indoor cellular signal booster has achieved Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification and is now available for purchase.
“We're dedicated to providing the best quality and performance in signal booster product solutions, to enable cellular users to use their mobile devices where and when they need it.”
The AG Pro Quint is the first signal booster certified to meet the FCC’s new technical standards. It enhances 4G as well as earlier-generation signals for all major U.S. cellular carriers’ networks. This high-performance, five-band signal booster supports LTE and other cellular technologies to provide strong, reliable cellular coverage in indoor areas such as homes and offices.
The AG Pro Quint and other Wilson cellular signal boosters were featured recently at the International CES 2014 in Las Vegas, NV.
“Receiving the first FCC approval to the new network protection standards is a significant achievement for everyone at Wilson Electronics, and affirms our position as the industry and market leader,” said Robert Van Buskirk, President and CEO of Wilson Electronics. “We're dedicated to providing the best quality and performance in signal booster product solutions, to enable cellular users to use their mobile devices where and when they need it."
The AG Pro Quint features the FCC maximum-allowed 70dB gain, and supports simultaneous connection by multiple cellular devices. Gain, or signal enhancement level, can be separately controlled on each of the five frequency bands. This allows for greater flexibility in the placement of antennas, and simplifies installation.
Customer benefits include:
- Significantly extended cellular indoor coverage
- Reliable connections even in weak-signal areas
- Fewer dropped calls
- Better voice quality
- Faster data downloads
- Longer cellular device battery life
The AG Pro Quint is sold as a complete system, which includes the signal booster unit, two antennas (inside and outside) and coaxial cable. It has an anticipated MSRP of $1,249.95.
