January 27, 2014 07:00 AM Eastern Standard Time ST. GEORGE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wilson Electronics (www.wilsonelectronics.com), manufacturer of North America’s top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announced today that the company’s AG Pro Quint indoor cellular signal booster has achieved Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification and is now available for purchase. “We're dedicated to providing the best quality and performance in signal booster product solutions, to enable cellular users to use their mobile devices where and when they need it.” The AG Pro Quint is the first signal booster certified to meet the FCC’s new technical standards. It enhances 4G as well as earlier-generation signals for all major U.S. cellular carriers’ networks. This high-performance, five-band signal booster supports LTE and other cellular technologies to provide strong, reliable cellular coverage in indoor areas such as homes and offices. The AG Pro Quint and other Wilson cellular signal boosters were featured recently at the International CES 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. “Receiving the first FCC approval to the new network protection standards is a significant achievement for everyone at Wilson Electronics, and affirms our position as the industry and market leader,” said Robert Van Buskirk, President and CEO of Wilson Electronics. “We're dedicated to providing the best quality and performance in signal booster product solutions, to enable cellular users to use their mobile devices where and when they need it." The AG Pro Quint features the FCC maximum-allowed 70dB gain, and supports simultaneous connection by multiple cellular devices. Gain, or signal enhancement level, can be separately controlled on each of the five frequency bands. This allows for greater flexibility in the placement of antennas, and simplifies installation. Customer benefits include:
  • Significantly extended cellular indoor coverage
  • Reliable connections even in weak-signal areas
  • Fewer dropped calls
  • Better voice quality
  • Faster data downloads
  • Longer cellular device battery life
The AG Pro Quint is sold as a complete system, which includes the signal booster unit, two antennas (inside and outside) and coaxial cable. It has an anticipated MSRP of $1,249.95.
