Are you experiencing bad reception, dropped calls or slow data speeds with your Sprint cell phone or hotspot? We offer a number of Sprint signal booster solutions to handle most any situation. If you need to improve your Sprint cell signal, end dropped calls, or increase data speeds, then we're here to help.

If you're not familiar with what a Sprint signal booster (also known as an Sprint cell booster, Sprint cell phone signal booster, or Sprint cell signal booster) is, it's a solution that receives the existing outside cell signal, strengthens it, and broadcasts it throughout the area of your home, office, car, truck, RV or boat that requires better Sprint cell signal. Depending on the Sprint signal booster option you go with, you may need to choose the best inside antenna (panel antenna or dome antenna) and outside antenna (omni-directional antenna or yagi directional antenna) for your situation, as well as if you need an easy, plug and play Sprint cell phone booster or an enterprise level passive DAS Sprint cell booster implementation.

About Sprint

The Sprint Nextel Corporation is the third largest carrier in the United States. In addition to the main Sprint brand, the company have multiple subsidiaries that also use the Sprint network. If you are a Nextel or iDEN customer, see our Nextel article.

Sprint’s Brands

The following subsidiaries use Sprint’s network so if you subscribe to one of the following services, the signal booster information below also applies to you.

Assurance Wireless

Assurance Wireless offers lifeline phone services through Virgin Mobile to provide free phones and minutes to low income customers in 31 states.

Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sprint Nextel Corporation and provides cell phone service in the United States. If you are on the Boost Mobile’s iDEN network, please see our article on Nextel. Boost Mobile uses Sprint’s CDMA network for 3G service and their WiMAX network for 4G service.

Virgin Mobile USA

Virgin Mobile is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sprint Nextel Corporation and provides cell phone service in the United States. Virgin Mobile uses Sprint’s CDMA network for 3G service and their WiMAX network for 4G service.

Sprint 3G Signal Boosters

Sprint operates a 3G network on 800 MHz (CDMA/1xRTT) and 1900 MHz (CDMA/1xRTT and Ev-DO Rev.0 & A). These frequencies are the standard frequencies used by cell services in the United States. Signal boosters that amplify both of these frequency bands are referred to as “dual-band” amplifiers and will boost 3G phone and Internet access for Sprint customers and all subsidiaries.

Sprint 4G WiMAX

Sprint licenses a WiMAX network from Clearwire Corporation and is used primarily by Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile subscribers. The network operates on the 2500 MHz frequency band, but unfortunately we do not have any boosters that will boost the WiMAX technology.

Sprint 4G LTE

Sprint’s new 4G LTE network is being deployed primarily on the 1900 MHz frequency band, but is not boosted by a standard dual band booster, so you'll need a booster that specifically boosts the Spring 4G LTE network.

Bottom Line

If you have Nextel or use their iDEN network through Boost Mobile, it’s time to get a new phone because that network is going away. If you need to boost phone calls on Sprint’s 3G network, choose any standard dual-band signal booster. If you need to boost 4G WiMAX, there unfortunately are no signal boosters available for that anymore. If you need to boost the Sprint 4G LTE network, then you'll want to go with one of our five band boosters.
