The Wilson Sleek 4G is the first cradle based 5-band signal booster that boosts all 5 cell phone signal frequencies that are used in North America. The Wilson Sleek 4G can boost the 2G and 3G networks of virtually all cell phone carriers in North America (except Nextel/iDEN), in addition to the ultra-fast 4G LTE networks from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. The Sleek 4G can boost the signal for all kinds of mobile phones and data devices like hotspots and USB data cards.
The Sleek 4G is designed for a single user and is ideal for use in vehicles or at a desk using the optional Wilson Sleek Home Accessory Kit. The Sleek 4G is capable of boosting a cell phone signal by up to 20 times giving you increased coverage, which results in superior call clarity, fewer dropped calls, and faster data speeds. The Sleek 4G kit features a built-in antenna as part of the cradle so your phone or mobile hotspot will have to stay in the cradle in order to benefit from the boosted signal. This requires you to use either a headset, speakerphone, or other hands free device while making calls. The Sleek 4G also includes a USB charging port that allows you to charge your phone or hotspot while it’s in the cradle (USB cable for charging your phone is not included).
How the Sleek 4G Works
Cell phone signal problems occur for two primary reasons. Either your phone isn’t powerful enough to communicate with the tower because you’re too far away, or there are obstacles, which prevent your signal from reaching the tower. Cell phones typically only support about 200 milliwatts of transmission power, which limits the distance you can be from the nearest tower. But with the Sleek 4G, your cell phone signal can be amplified up to 20 times in both directions (to and from the cell phone tower) making your phone able to receive weaker signals and transmit to more distant towers. This allows you to make calls in areas with a weak signal where you would otherwise experience a dropped call or no data.
Wilson’s patented technology dynamically adjusts the Sleek 4G’s signal booster to ensure it’s using the right amount of power to communicate with the cell tower without risking overloading the system. This results in fewer dropped calls, increased call clarity and faster data speeds while still being a responsible consumer.
The Sleek 4G is capable of boosting all major cell phone carriers and amplifies the signal from the standard dual bands as well as AWS (1700/2100 MHz) all of the time. The Sleek 4G cannot boost both Verizon 4G LTE and AT&T 4G LTE at the same time, so it has a switch on the side of the cradle where you can select the network that you would like to boost. If you want to boost Verizon 4G LTE, move the switch into the up position. For AT&T LTE, the switch should be in the down position.

Installation
The Sleek 4G installs in minutes and includes everything you need to setup and use the mobile signal booster in the box. There are no special tools or parts required. Just mount the included magnetic antenna on the roof of the vehicle and run the attached cable into the vehicle through the door to the Sleek 4G amplifier. The included power adapter plugs into your vehicle’s power port or cigarette lighter and supplies enough electricity to power the Sleek and to charge your phone if connected to the charging port. And because the setup is so simple, you can easily move it from one vehicle to another as needed.
For use on a desk or table in a home or office, you’ll also need the Home Accessory Kit. From the home accessory kit, take the window bracket and attach it to a window using the included suction cups. Next place the magnetic antenna on the bracket. Run the coax cable to your desk or table and attach it to the Sleek 4G. Attach the cradle to the table-top stand, included in the home accessory kit and finally, plug it in using the AC power adapter, also included in the home accessory kit.

This is the only booster that boosts 4G signals on all major carrier networks & that also boosts 2g and 3g signal's for under $1000. I work in the oilfield as an mwd field engineer outside Douglas Wyoming & without this booster all I can pick up is 3g signal which gives me about 1.2 mbps down and 600 kbps up. Don't trust what any of the negative reviewer's say on here, more than likely they are just inexperienced with signal boosters. Once I hooked this up and pointed the antenna in the right direction I was able to pick up a 4g signal and went from 1.2mbps to 22 mbps down. Now i'm able to stream all my movies on netflix and amazon off my roku player & browse the internet on my work computer without a single hiccup. If you don't want to spend a small fortune on a 4g booster that boost all major network signals buy this. I live in a Sprint 4G LTE coverage area, but don't get great signal in my home, especially not good enough for my Sprint hotspot. Cable broadband isn't an option here and satellite internet is too laggy for me. The Sleek 4G is the only signal booster I could find that would boost Sprint 4G LTE, so I gave it a shot and hoped that it could get the signal up enough for usable Internet. I was overly impressed to say the least. My signal went from barely usable to really feeling like I was on a broadband connection. I keep it in the same place, so don't really take advantage of the mobile capabilities, but as a home booster, it's been great. I travel A LOT for work. Cars, trains, planes...I'm all over the place, and many times that means a lot of bad cell service. I have two phones, a personal one from Sprint, and then a work blackberry from Verizon, which I carry with me everywhere (you'd be surprised how many people have multiple phones like this). I had read about the Sleek 4G when it was first announced, and decided to give it a try. It's just amazing. I can pack away the cradle while flying, and then use it with my rental car in transit. If my hotel room has bad service, I just use the home accessory kit, and instantly have better service in my room.
