Overview

You spec every van the same way, the same shelving, the same ladder rack, and the same decals, since sameness is what makes a fleet manageable. Signal is the one part you can't spec, because it changes with every route and every driver's carrier. The SureCall Fusion2Go XR Fleet is a cell signal booster that installs permanently in each vehicle and makes signal part of the build. Calls, texts, and data get boosted for whatever phone and whatever plan is in the vehicle that day, so drivers answer where they used to drop out, updates land between stops, and the day's photos upload before the van is parked.

Why the Fusion2Go XR Fleet

  • One permanent install per vehicle, and every driver who ever takes the keys gets the boost
  • Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Straight Talk boosted together, so carrier choice stays a personnel question instead of an equipment one
  • Supports 5G and 4G LTE
  • A low profile NMO antenna, the same mount telematics and two-way radio installers use, sitting inches off the roof
  • Hardwired 12V power on an 18 ft cable, wired in once at install and never touched again
  • Rated to keep working from -4°F to +158°F
  • Designed, assembled, and tested in the USA, with SureCall's lifetime US-based support

Recommended For

  • Fleets from three vans to thirty, spec'd once and installed the same way in each
  • Field service routes that run to the edges of the service area
  • Patrol, utility, and delivery vehicles that shouldn't have to circle back into coverage to check in
  • Vehicles that change drivers more often than they change oil
  • Permanent installs in working vehicles. Personal cars and trucks take the standard XR, semi cabs the XR OTR, motorhomes the XR RV

How It Works

  1. An NMO antenna sits low on the roof, permanent and out of the way, and receives your carrier's signal above the sheet metal
  2. A hardwired amplifier boosts it up to the legal limit for a multi-carrier mobile booster
  3. An inside patch antenna broadcasts that amplified signal across the front of the vehicle, where the phones actually are

The boost applies in both directions. For a vehicle working the edge of the coverage map, the outbound direction matters most, because the driver's phone reaches back to a distant tower with the amplifier's power instead of its own.

Signal has to reach the vehicle for the system to have something to build on, and a location with truly none is beyond any booster.

What's in the Box

In the Box

The Fusion2Go XR Fleet kit includes everything needed for a standard vehicle installation:

  • Fusion2Go XR signal booster
  • Outside NMO antenna
  • NMO mounting base with 15 ft PRO200 cable (requires 3/8-inch roof hole)

Coverage Area & Supported Carriers

The strength of your outside signal, measured where you mount the antenna, affects how much coverage the system provides inside the vehicle. Use the chart below for general guidance:

Coverage Estimates:

  • Strong (5 Bars): Usable signal through the cabin
  • Medium (3 to 4 Bars): Best within a few feet of the inside antenna
  • Weak (1 to 2 Bars): Strongest close to the inside antenna, so keep phones near it
  • None (0 Bars): No coverage

Please note: Many factors impact indoor coverage, so results may vary.

Supported Devices:
All phones, tablets, hotspots, and cellular-connected devices

Supported Networks:
5G, 4G LTE, and legacy cellular technologies (on approved frequency bands)

Frequencies Boosted:
700, 800, 1900, and 1700/2100 MHz (Bands 12 / 13 / 17 / 5 / 2 / 25 / 4)

Carriers:
Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, UScellular, and most smaller carriers or MVNOs

International Compatibility: This system is designed for use in the US. It may not work in other countries due to different frequency bands.

Installation Overview

The Fusion2Go XR Fleet is designed for permanent, professional installation in fleet vehicles, service trucks, or other work vehicles. It uses a hardwired 12V power connection and a rooftop NMO antenna that mounts through a drilled hole in the metal roof. While not difficult, the install does require careful placement and spacing for best performance.

1. Mount the Outside Antenna

Choose a flat spot on the vehicle’s metal roof with at least 12 inches of clearance from other antennas or obstructions, and at least 6 inches from any windows. Use a 3/8-inch hole saw to drill through the roof. The NMO mount drops through this hole from inside the vehicle and locks in place with a threaded collar.

Once installed, route the antenna cable inside the vehicle. Most installers tuck the cable behind the headliner and down through interior trim panels to reach the booster.

Tip: Use the SureCall app (iOS and Android) to test signal strength at different roof locations before drilling.

2. Install the Inside Patch Antenna

Mount the patch antenna on or near the dash, within 2 to 3 feet of where phones are normally used, and at least 8 inches from people and 4 inches from metal. The included Velcro or vent clip can be used for easy attachment.

For best results, keep the inside antenna as far away from the outside antenna as possible, ideally 4 to 6 feet, with a physical barrier (like the vehicle roof) in between.

3. Mount the Booster and Connect Cables

Install the booster in a dry, ventilated area away from heat and moisture. Under a seat or inside the center console are good options.

Connect the outside antenna cable to the port labeled OUTSIDE, and the inside antenna to the port labeled INSIDE. Hand-tighten all connections and secure any loose cable.

4. Hardwire the Power Cable

Disconnect the vehicle battery before wiring the 12V power supply. Connect the red wire to a +12V accessory wire (that turns on with ignition), and the black wire to ground. Reconnect the battery, then plug the cable into the booster’s power port.

Note: The system is also compatible with an AC power adapter (sold separately) if needed.

5. Test and Verify Operation

When powered, the booster’s LED will briefly flash yellow and red, then turn solid green during normal operation.
If the LED turns red, there may be oscillation (feedback between antennas) and you may need to increase spacing or reposition antennas.

To verify performance:

  • Place a call or test data speed in an area where signal was previously weak

  • Adjust antenna placement as needed

  • Don’t rely on “bars” alone, use call quality or upload speed as your real test

Tip: Don’t coil excess cable. If you have extra length, route it in a loose zigzag pattern instead.
