How It Works

1. An omnidirectional outside antenna receives signal from every direction at once, so there's no tower to find and aim at before you mount it high on the ladder
2. An amplifier inside boosts the signal, up to the legal limit for mobile boosters, all carriers at the same time
3. An inside whip antenna broadcasts what the amplifier sends it across the living area, front to back

Both directions get the boost. What your phone sends back to the tower is amplified the same way, and at a far site that outbound signal is the one that needs the help.

Nothing here creates signal. A site with none of it reaching the roof gives the amplifier nothing to do.
