Overview

When a Verizon-connected device sits at a site with weak signal, the cellular modem can't do its job. The ATM stops finishing transactions, the alarm panel drops offline, the vending machine misses its inventory sync. Someone ends up driving out to the location, only to find that the hardware is fine and the real issue is the cellular path to the tower.

The SureCall SC-LTE-V is built specifically for the Verizon LTE network and fixes this problem at the source. It packages the donor antenna and amplifier into one outdoor unit, then runs a single coax cable through a power injector and into the device's external antenna port. There's no indoor rebroadcast to set up, no Wi-Fi to keep alive, no carrier configuration to manage. SureCall's Extended Range Technology gives the system enough reach to lock onto distant Verizon towers, which is what most weak-signal sites actually need.

We recommend this product when a single Verizon-connected device is the problem you're trying to solve. ATMs, vending and lottery machines, cellular alarm panels, security systems, digital signage, and telematics gateways all run on the same architecture: one modem, one external antenna port, one data plan. If your hardware fits that pattern and runs on Verizon, this is the right tool. If the problem is dropped calls on phones inside a building, you're in a different category of system entirely.

How well the SC-LTE-V performs at a given site depends on the Verizon signal where you mount the antenna, so antenna placement does most of the work. With a usable Verizon signal outside, this booster gives the connected device the headroom it needs to stay online.

Who This Is For

This product fits one specific shape of problem, where a single Verizon-connected device sits at a site that can't give it enough signal. The buyers who land here usually fit one of a few patterns.

  • Small business owners running an ATM, a vending machine, or another cellular-connected payment device at a location where Verizon coverage is too weak for the modem to hold a steady connection.
  • Security and alarm installers placing cellular-backed panels in basements, mechanical rooms, or metal-clad buildings where the panel can't maintain its Verizon connection on its own.
  • Property owners with a single piece of IoT hardware the business depends on, like a digital sign, a kiosk, or a remote monitoring gateway, where the device works fine at the office but can't stay online at the site.

If your device runs on AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular instead of Verizon, this isn't the right product. We carry direct-connect boosters tuned for those carriers and can point you toward the right one. If the problem is dropped calls on phones inside a building, that's a different category entirely. You're usually looking at a building rebroadcast booster or a passive DAS for that situation.

Product Highlights & Benefits

Product Highlights

  • The donor antenna and amplifier come built into one outdoor unit, so you mount a single piece outside instead of three separate components
  • Built specifically for the Verizon LTE network on bands 2, 5, 13, and 66, with low-band 5G included alongside 4G LTE
  • SureCall's Extended Range Technology pulls in signal from distant Verizon towers and pushes amplified signal back to the device cleanly
  • A 20-foot RG-174 coax cable with an SMA Male connector terminates directly at the device's external antenna port
  • Plug-and-play install with no carrier programming, no device pairing, no Wi-Fi, and no monthly fees
  • Designed, assembled, and tested in the USA

Top Benefits

  • Brings a Verizon-connected device back online without swapping modems, replacing antennas, or rewiring the hardware
  • No monthly fees and no internet required, so the only ongoing cost stays the Verizon data plan the device already runs on
  • Backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty and lifetime US-based technical support, with our 90-day return policy on top
  • A single field tech can handle the install in one site visit, with no specialized tools or carrier coordination needed

In the Box

  • Integrated donor antenna and amplifier unit
  • Power injector

Coverage Area & Supported Carriers

The SC-LTE-V is built for the Verizon LTE network in the United States, and that's the only carrier it supports. It operates on bands 2, 5, 13, and 66, which covers Verizon's 4G LTE and low-band 5G traffic. It does not work with AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or any other non-Verizon device.

This is a direct-connect system, so it serves one device at a time and pushes the amplified signal straight into the modem's antenna port. There's no indoor rebroadcast, which means this isn't a square footage product. Performance depends on the Verizon signal available outside, where you mount the donor antenna. The stronger that outside signal is, the cleaner the connection at the device. If a site has no usable Verizon signal at all, no booster can manufacture one out of thin air.

In our experience, antenna placement does most of the heavy lifting on installs like this. Get the donor antenna up high, point it toward the nearest Verizon tower, and give it a clean line of sight past nearby obstructions. That will outperform almost any other adjustment you can make. Extended Range Technology gives the system enough headroom to reach towers that would otherwise be too marginal, though the mounting still drives the result more than anything else.

Installation Overview

Most installs go in cleanly during a single site visit, and the basic sequence is straightforward.

  1. Survey the outdoor signal first. Take a phone or signal meter to the site and check Verizon signal strength at potential mounting points. Higher positions with a clear line of sight to the nearest Verizon tower almost always test better. Confirm the device's external antenna port accepts an SMA Male connector, or have an adapter ready.
  2. Mount the integrated unit. The donor antenna and amplifier come as a single piece, so you have one outdoor mount to handle instead of three components. Use a standard pole, mast, wall, or rooftop bracket appropriate to the surface and the local wind load.
  3. Run the coax to the device. The included 20-foot cable connects from the integrated unit, through the power injector, and into the device's external antenna port. Keep the cable run as direct as you can, avoid sharp bends, and don't coil excess cable near the power injector or the device.
  4. Power the system. The power injector takes 120VAC and feeds power back to the antenna unit over the same coax. Typical draw is around 10W, so a standard wall outlet handles it without issue.
  5. Verify the connection. Once the system is powered, check that the device reports a stronger Verizon signal than baseline. Most modems and panels show signal strength in their status interface. If it's still weak, reposition the outdoor antenna toward a different tower or move it to a higher mounting point.

Two practical notes worth knowing before you start. The operating temperature range is 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, so the outdoor unit needs to sit somewhere that stays in that range year-round. The cable is fixed at 20 feet, which sets a practical limit on how far the antenna can be from the device. If your site needs more separation than that, give us a call before ordering and we'll help you figure out the right setup.
