This system is designed for the phone to rest on the Magnetic Phone Charger in order to receive the amplified signal. The inside antenna is built into the charger, so keeping the phone on that mount places it in the boosted field. If your phone supports MagSafe or Qi2 it will snap into alignment. If it does not, use the included thin metal ring to ensure proper alignment on the charger.

Plan on a simple DIY setup. Start by placing the outside antenna on the roof. Choose a spot near the center and keep it at least twelve inches from any other antenna and at least twelve inches from windows including a sunroof. Clean the surface first so the magnet seats well. For aluminum roofs use the included adhesive disk.

Route the antenna cable into the vehicle. The cable can enter from any side and is tough enough to shut in most doors without damage. Common paths are a rear side door on a sedan, the top of the hatch on an SUV or van, or a side door on a truck. Remove the outside antenna before a car wash.

Connect the outside antenna cable to the end of the booster without the power port. Hand tighten only. Place the booster under a seat or in the trunk where cables will not be stepped on or snagged.

Connect the charger cable to the booster end with the power port. Hand tighten only. Then plug the power supply into the vehicle 12V port and connect it to the booster. If your 12V port is always on, switch the power supply off when parked to avoid draining the battery. Only 12V ports are supported.

Attach your phone to the Magnetic Phone Charger. Extend the charger so the bottom edge of the phone sits between the two reference lines on the pad for best coupling and performance. If your phone supports MagSafe or Qi2 it will snap into place. If it does not, use the included thin metal ring to line it up. This system is designed for the phone to rest on the charger to receive the amplified signal.

Check status. A solid white LED on the charger means the booster is on and operating at maximum gain. If the phone is not charging, check power to the CLA, the booster, and the charger, then reseat the plug.
