Overview
Overview
The Office 200 is the best-selling commercial booster we carry, and this is that system certified refurbished by the manufacturer at $400 below a matching new configuration. It runs up to 72 dB of system gain, the ceiling the FCC sets for a booster that serves every carrier at once. The amplifier carries a display that reads the signal band by band, so setup and troubleshooting mean reading a screen instead of guessing.
The outside antenna receives signal from nearby towers, the amplifier boosts it, and the inside antenna broadcasts it through the building. In practice that looks like calls holding at the back desks instead of only near a window, the card reader finishing the sale instead of spinning, and the alarm panel and the router's cellular backup staying online through the whole shift. Every major carrier gets boosted at the same time, so the Verizon phones and the AT&T hotspots come up together. Nothing connects to your network and nobody sets anything up on a phone, every device finds the boosted signal on its own the moment the system is live. The dead zones fill in.
It is built for the hard buildings, the ones with metal walls, concrete, or low-E glass, or enough distance from the tower that the parking lot has bars and the desks do not. Offices, retail floors, small warehouses, and medical suites are the usual addresses, and large homes and cabins belong there too, so don't let the Office name steer you off if you are shopping for a house. The one thing it cannot do is invent coverage, because a booster only amplifies the signal your building can already reach. If there is nothing usable outside, we would rather tell you before the sale than after.
This configuration pairs the Yagi directional outside antenna with the panel inside antenna on a 50 Ohm system with N-connectors throughout. That is the pairing for weak signal outside and coverage that needs to go in one direction, since the Yagi is aimed at a single tower and the panel broadcasts out the front.
The manufacturer inspected, tested, and restored this system to like-new condition, and it ships with every component a new one carries. The one real difference is the equipment warranty, which runs 1 year here against 3 years on a new Office 200.
