Overview

Job site trailers end up wherever the project needs them, not where the cell signal is good. That means dropped calls with clients, project management tools that won't sync, and crews walking outside just to get a text to go through. When your office moves from site to site, unpredictable coverage comes with the territory.

Work Site is a professional-grade cell signal booster built specifically for mobile offices, job site trailers, and temporary field command centers. It captures whatever cell signal exists outside your trailer, amplifies it, and broadcasts it inside so everyone working in the space gets usable voice and data.

The system has three main parts. An outside antenna mounted on a 24-foot telescoping pole captures signal from nearby cell towers. The booster amplifies that signal. And an inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal throughout your workspace.

The telescoping pole is what sets Work Site apart. It raises the outside antenna above your trailer and surrounding obstacles to capture the best available signal. And because the antenna is omni-directional (picks up signal from all directions), you don't have to aim it at a specific tower. That matters when you're setting up at a new site and don't know where the nearest tower is.

Who This Is For

  • Work Site is built for the people who run projects from the field:

  • General contractors managing multiple jobs from a mobile office trailer

  • Site superintendents coordinating crews, inspections, and deliveries

  • Project managers and estimators who need reliable access to cloud-based tools

  • Engineering and design teams working from modular offices on large projects

  • Safety coordinators who depend on consistent connectivity for emergency communications

  • Fleet and equipment managers operating from job site command centers

If your office relocates when the project does, this is the booster designed for that reality.

Who This Is Not For

Work Site is not the right choice for permanent commercial buildings or office spaces that don't move. For those situations, a commercial office booster with professional installation makes more sense.

What to Expect

Like any booster, Work Site amplifies existing signal. It can't create signal where none exists. Results depend on the outside signal strength where you set up the pole. The stronger the signal the antenna can capture, the better the coverage inside. In truly remote locations with almost no signal, results will be limited.

Product Highlights & Benefits

Product Highlights

  • 24 ft telescoping pole system raises the outside antenna above trailers and surrounding obstacles for maximum signal capture
  • HEX 360 omni-directional antenna picks up signal from all directions, so you never have to aim at a tower or figure out where the nearest one is
  • 65 dB gain provides strong amplification, even when outside signal is limited
  • Works with all US carriers simultaneously so everyone in the trailer benefits, regardless of which network they're on
  • Supports multiple users and devices at once, not just one phone at a time
  • Complete kit with everything included for installation, including pole, mounting brackets, cables, and antennas
  • FCC approved with 2-year warranty backed by US-based support

Top Benefits

  • Calls stay connected through client conversations, inspector check-ins, and crew coordination
  • Cloud-based project management tools, scheduling apps, and file syncing work the way they're supposed to
  • The whole trailer gets coverage, so nobody has to cluster near windows or step outside for signal
  • When the project ends and the trailer moves, the system packs up and sets up at the next site without specialized knowledge
  • Consistent connectivity for safety communication when it matters most

Coverage Area & Supported Carriers

Coverage Area

Many variables impact the total coverage area of a signal booster system. The following are estimates only and may not be accurate in any individual situation.

  • If you have an existing strong 5 bar outside signal, you may get up to 5,000 sq ft of coverage inside
  • If you have an existing 3 to 4 bar outside signal, you may get up to 3,500 sq ft of coverage inside
  • If you have an existing 1 to 2 bar outside signal, you may get up to 1,000 sq ft of coverage inside

The actual coverage area of a signal booster is dependent on many factors including existing outside signal strength, obstructions between you and the cell tower, the materials used in your trailer or mobile office, the layout of the area you need to cover with a boosted signal, and other factors. The approximate coverage areas listed above are estimates. Actual coverage area will vary based on these and other factors.

Supported Carriers

Work Site (SKU: 473059) works with all US carriers simultaneously. Everyone in your trailer benefits regardless of which carrier they use. No settings to configure, no carrier selection required.

Installation Overview

Work Site installation is straightforward, but taking time to get it right makes a real difference in performance.

The Basic Setup

1. Decide where you want the best signal inside your trailer. That's where the inside panel antenna goes. Mount it on a wall or ceiling, facing the area where people work.

2. Place the amplifier at least 24 inches from the inside antenna. It can sit on a surface or mount vertically using the included wall bracket.

3. Assemble the telescoping pole system. Attach the pole foot to the bottom, mount the outside antenna on top with the included mast and bracket, and connect the 15 ft coax cable.

4. Find a stable mounting location outside. The pole bracket attaches to the side of your trailer, and the pole foot anchors to the ground. Look for solid ground (compressed dirt, concrete, or wood decking).

5. Extend the pole as high as practical. The higher the outside antenna, the better the signal capture. The full 24 feet isn't always necessary, but getting above the trailer roofline helps.

6. Run cable from the outside antenna to the amplifier (connect to the port labeled "Outside Antenna"), and from the amplifier to the inside antenna (connect to the port labeled "Inside Antenna"). A window entry cable is included if you need to route through a closed window.

7. Plug in the power supply and verify the amplifier light shows solid green.

Key Spacing Rule

The outside antenna and inside antenna need separation to avoid interfering with each other. Here's what matters, in order of importance:

  • Antenna orientation is critical. The inside panel antenna broadcasts signal in one direction (out from the front face). Point that broadcast AWAY from the outside antenna.
  • Ceiling mount: Mount the panel to the ceiling, facing down. Signal broadcasts downward into the trailer, away from the outside antenna on the pole.
  • Wall mount: Position the panel so the back of the antenna faces toward where the outside antenna is mounted. Signal broadcasts into the workspace, not toward the pole.
  • Vertical separation matters more than horizontal. The telescoping pole exists for this reason. The higher you can raise the outside antenna above the trailer, the better the system performs.
  • More horizontal distance helps too. If you can position the pole farther from where the inside antenna is mounted, do it.

Get the orientation right first, maximize your vertical separation with the pole, and add horizontal distance where you can. The system will find its optimal performance from there.

Tips for Best Results

Do a soft install first (temporary positioning) before permanently securing the pole. Test the signal improvement and adjust if needed.

  • If the amplifier light blinks or shows red/yellow, the antennas are too close or pointing at each other. Increase separation or reposition.
  • Don't coil excess cable near the amplifier. Route it cleanly to avoid interference.
  • Use a surge protector for the power supply.

Moving to Your Next Site

When the project ends and the trailer relocates, Work Site moves with you.

To break down, collapse the telescoping pole, disconnect the cables, and pack everything. The system is designed for repeated setup and breakdown without special tools.

At the new location, the omni-directional antenna makes setup simple. It captures signal from all directions, so you don't have to figure out where the nearest tower is or aim at anything specific. Find a stable spot to mount the pole, extend it, connect the cables, and power on.

If the new site has different signal conditions (stronger or weaker outside signal), your indoor coverage area will adjust accordingly. The system automatically optimizes for whatever signal is available.
