Overview

The WilsonPro 1398 is an enterprise-grade in-building amplifier designed to bring reliable mid-band 5G coverage indoors. Operating on the C-band spectrum between 3.45 and 3.98 GHz, it is built for large offices, hospitals, warehouses, and other facilities that need dependable 5G connectivity across critical areas.

Unlike smaller boosters meant for homes or single rooms, the 1398 is engineered for high-capacity environments. It delivers dual amplification paths that can either be configured independently for up to 400 MHz of bandwidth or paired in 2x2 MIMO mode for faster data speeds. This makes it a strong fit for organizations where staff, guests, or connected equipment rely on consistent 5G performance.

The amplifier automatically synchronizes with carrier networks through its built-in Time Division Duplex (TDD) modem. Once configured, it amplifies the 5G signal instantly without requiring any additional backhaul. Extended Dynamic Range technology ensures the system stays online even when outdoor signals fluctuate or run stronger than expected.

Management is straightforward thanks to the onboard LCD touchscreen and WilsonPro Cloud. The unit continuously scans for signal conditions, adjusts performance as needed, and can send real-time alerts to IT staff if there is a change in operation. Whether wall-mounted or rack-mounted, the 1398 can be installed as a standalone unit or integrated into an existing WilsonPro system, giving facilities room to expand coverage as needs grow.

Product Highlights & Benefits

Product Highlights

  • Supports mid-band 5G (3.45–3.98 GHz) for C-band capable devices on all carriers
  • Dual amplification paths with up to 400 MHz total bandwidth or 200 MHz in full 2x2 MIMO mode
  • Automatic TDD synchronization with carrier networks for seamless operation
  • Extended Dynamic Range (XDR) technology prevents shutdown from strong outdoor signals
  • Network scanning and software-defined filtering to target specific frequencies or carriers
  • Remote monitoring and control through WilsonPro Cloud via Ethernet or LTE
  • Color LCD touchscreen for quick setup and system checks
  • Flexible installation options with wall mount (SKU 460072) or rack mount (SKU 461072)
  • Compatible as a standalone amplifier or as part of a larger WilsonPro DAS system

Top Benefits

  • Delivers reliable 5G connectivity in offices, hospitals, and warehouses where coverage is weak indoors
  • Reduces downtime with automated gain adjustments and remote alerts through WilsonPro Cloud
  • Gives IT and operations teams confidence with real-time visibility into performance across all carriers
  • Provides flexibility to expand coverage as needs grow, whether in a single building or across a campus
  • Ensures faster data speeds and improved device performance thanks to 2x2 MIMO support

In the Box

The WilsonPro 1398 is available in two versions: wall mount (SKU 460072) and rack mount (SKU 461072). Each package includes the following:

  • Enterprise 1398 Amplifier (wall mount or rack mount, depending on SKU)
  • External hinged antenna
  • Power supply

Note: Indoor and outdoor C-band antennas, coaxial cables, and a lightning surge protector are required but sold separately.

Coverage Area & Supported Carriers

The WilsonPro 1398 does not have fixed square-foot coverage ratings like smaller consumer boosters. Coverage depends on several factors:

  • The strength of the outdoor C-band signal where the donor antenna is mounted
  • The number and placement of indoor antennas
  • Building layout, materials, and ceiling height
  • Whether the system is configured for dual-path SISO or 2x2 MIMO

In practical terms, a strong outdoor signal with a well-designed indoor antenna layout can cover large portions of an enterprise facility. With weak outdoor signal or poor antenna placement, coverage may be limited to smaller zones. For multi-floor or high-capacity sites, the 1398 is often deployed as part of a larger WilsonPro or hybrid DAS system.

Supported Devices
All C-band capable phones, hotspots, tablets, and cellular-connected devices

Supported Networks
5G C-band (3450–3980 MHz)

Frequencies Boosted
3450–3980 MHz (excluding CBRS)

Carriers

Regulatory Advisories

This is a CONSUMER device.
BEFORE USE, you MUST REGISTER THIS DEVICE with your wireless provider and have your provider's consent. Most wireless providers consent to the use of signal boosters. Some providers may not consent to the use of this device on their network. If you are unsure, contact your provider. You MUST operate this device with approved antennas and cables as specified by the manufacturer. Antennas MUST be installed at least 20 cm (8 inches) from any person. You MUST cease operating this device immediately if requested by the FCC or a licensed wireless service provider. WARNING. E911 location information may not be provided or may be inaccurate for calls served by using this device.

Please note, the four largest carriers - AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint - and more than 90 regional carriers have given blanket consent for use of all boosters certified to the new FCC standards.

Common Questions About Commercial Projects

How much does a commercial signal booster system cost?

Most commercial systems cost between $5,000 and $35,000 depending on building size, construction materials, and how many antennas your layout requires. That includes the amplifier, antennas, cabling, and all components. Larger or multi-building projects can run higher. We provide custom quotes because every building is different.

What happens after I submit the form?

We'll send you a price quote, usually within a few hours and always within 1 business day. If your project needs a full system design, a signal expert will reach out for a brief conversation about your space, then send you a detailed proposal. The consultation is always complimentary.

Will I get bombarded with sales calls?

No. For price quotes, we email you and that's it. For consultations, one team member will reach out to understand your space. If you're not ready to move forward, that's the end of it. We don't have a follow-up sales team, and we never sell your information.

Why should I buy from UberSignal instead of directly from the manufacturer?

We carry every major brand - weBoost, SureCall, WilsonPro, Cel-Fi. That means we recommend the right system for your building, not just one manufacturer's product. We also provide system design, professional installation coordination, and ongoing support that manufacturers don't offer to end customers.

Do I need professional installation?

For commercial systems, we strongly recommend it. Proper antenna placement, cable routing, and signal optimization make the difference between a system that works and one that doesn't. We coordinate professional installation, or provide technical guidance if you're working with your own installer or IT team.

What if a signal booster won't work for my building?

We evaluate your situation before you spend anything. If a booster won't solve your problem, we'll tell you upfront and explain what will. For buildings that need a full distributed antenna system, we can design hybrid DAS solutions or refer you to an active DAS partner.

Don't Guess. Get It Right the First Time.

Every week your building has dead zones is a week your team is working around a problem with a straightforward fix.
