WilsonPro 140i FirstNet Amplifier

A building can have a good cellular system and still leave first responders with weak signal inside, because FirstNet runs on Band 14, a 700 MHz block reserved for public safety, and WilsonPro's Enterprise 1300, 3300, and 4300 boosters do not amplify it. The WilsonPro 140i closes that gap as a FirstNet Trusted repeater that amplifies Band 14 and nothing else. We specify it whenever dependable FirstNet coverage is needed inside a police or fire station, a hospital, a city hall, or any other building first responders may have to work in, whether or not a cellular system is already there.

With the 140i in place, the phones, tablets, and high power (HPUE) devices responders carry hold a strong Band 14 connection well past the lobby, so calls connect, texts send right away, and live mapping and video from body cameras keep working on every floor. It supports 4G LTE and 5G NR, handles up to 128 simultaneous users, and runs up to 80 dB of gain, and digital filtering holds all of that amplification to Band 14, so none of it interferes with the licensed services on the surrounding bands.

Installed by itself, the 140i covers up to 100,000 square feet when the Band 14 signal outside is strong, and in a building that already has a WilsonPro system, FirstNet gets a dedicated amplifier while that wideband booster keeps serving the commercial carriers. For a building too large for one amplifier, the 140i can feed a Zinwave hybrid DAS through its indoor antenna port, which can be set to simplex for that connection, and together they carry FirstNet coverage through as much as 500,000 square feet.

Both versions of the 140i carry the same published specifications for gain, output power, and coverage. What sets the 462074 apart is that it's Cloud capable, so it works with WilsonPro Cloud, the remote monitoring platform Wilson runs, and a facilities or IT team can then keep an eye on the amplifier from their desks. When remote monitoring isn't part of how a building is managed, we quote the 460074, the standard version.

The 140i is an industrial class booster under FCC rules, so it can't operate until the Band 14 licensee gives its express consent, and that approval belongs in the project timeline from the start. Each version ships with just the amplifier and a power supply in the box, and the donor antenna, the indoor antennas, and the cable are specified in the design for your building.
